Trump’s legal team was gagged at every turn, forbidden from raising any reasonable defense in a case where Trump’s guilt was *presumed* — if this video was her BEFORE the conflict of interest came up, imagine how much MORE incensed his lawyer will be now that word is breaking about a close relationship between the judge and prosecution.
If there were any doubt that we are living in a police state where the team pretending to ‘defend’ us from tyranny are the ones pushing it… look no further than how Dems treat their political rivals.
Imagine for a moment you were accused of a felony, your guilt had been assumed by no less than the court itself (on multiple occasions), and a hostile media decided to make a sacrificial lamb out of you — presumption of innocence be damned. And the reason behind all this hate? You have the ‘wrong’ political party affiliation.
With that as your starting point, imagine this lawyer describing not the hurdles she faced while representing Donald J. Trump — but that she was representing you, John Q. Citizen. In one sense, that was exactly who she was representing.
Now that the case was over, and she was able to speak freely, she was NOT pulling any punches on how insane this situation really was. Five minutes of pure ‘fire’.
As Trump keep saying — if they can do this to him, they can do it to anyone. As we have already seen, they HAVE done it to others.
