Robert Sterling, the CFO of business site MBA Threads, took a well-deserved ax to the leftists who have spent the last few years saying one thing about social issues, only to do a complete 180 in order to excuse away Hamas terrorism against Israel.
Sterling was thoroughly disgusted by how the left just spent the last 10 years attacking free speech, claiming not speaking out is the same as approving “violence,” and claiming that professors who are not left-wingers have no “academic freedom” because they are “racists,” only to now be going in the exact opposite direction from these proclamations to excuse their attacks on Israel and to either ignore, or outright support the campaign of terror that Hamas brought down on innocent Israeli civilians.
In an Oct. 14 post on X, Sterling destroyed the left for their blinkered “rhetorical devices.”

2023: Graduate students at the most prestigious university in the world are just kids and cannot be held accountable for statements they sign. This is cancel culture.

2023: It is Israel’s responsibility to ensure that violence doesn’t escalate.

2023: Settlers—a term that includes all Israeli Jews—are not civilians and are therefore all valid targets for attacks.
