Online news website Fox Nation suffered a huge wave of cancelled memberships in the day following Fox News’ firing of popular commentator Tucker Carlson.
Fox Nation is Fox’s attempt to steer fans to a pay-for site featuring special video, news, and commentary content, but in the wake of Carlson’s abrupt firing, tens of thousands reportedly began heading for the cancel button.
Many took to social media to announce that after Carlson was fired, they fired Fox Nation!
I just cancelled my Fox Nation subscription with the note: "No Tucker Carlson, no Fox Nation subscription. Goodbye." Who is doing the same?

Time will tell, but many are already predicting that eliminating Carlson will deliver a sever blow to Fox News.
Still, that might be hard to see making a long-term impact. After all, Fox gets double the ratings as all the other cable news outlets, so it remains to be seen if this firing will really make a dent in that popularity.
You can bet Fox News is thinking it won’t make that much difference in the long term.
