With the convoy coming and the Abbot vs. Biden showdown over the razor wire heating up, it would be easy to fall into the usual red team vs blue team cheerleading.
But is the situation we’ve got at the border really that black-and-white? Or is there more to it?
Rich and Doug dig into that question in this week’s show. If you believe all the news you see on TV (or even online) you might be surprised by where this conversation takes you.
There’s a reason we like the verses in scripture, like Psalm 146, that remind us not to fall in love with our politicians (ie: ‘Put not your trust in princes’). When you’ve been around enough to have seen how that sausage REALLY gets made, it can cure you of any interest you might have in putting politicians on pedestals.

While you’re at it, here’s his latest book:
Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.
Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.
This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
