Iran was full of bluster when they were preparing their attack, but by the end of the night they were scrambling to declare any wins at all.
Propaganda fail
Tehran tried to run footage of a fire as proof of their successful attacks. They’d should have checked their sources, because they ran footage from that wildfire in… Texas.
Iran is so despaired to show the failed attack was successful that they published a picture from a fire. It seems to be Texas, USA, and said this was from Israel on Saturday… pic.twitter.com/hOv8drb9ls

Oof. That’s almost as embarrassing as the time ABC ran footage of a 2019 ‘Turkish air strike in Syria’ that was actually 2017 footage of explosions in Kentucky.
Targeting fail
This image of an impotent Iranian missile floating in the Dead Sea, for example, is just hilarious.
How saline is the Dead Sea?
Looks like even an intercepted Iranian missile floats in it. pic.twitter.com/YYMIFzTOHZ

Apart from the young Bedouin girl who was left in critical condition, Iran’s waves of missiles didn’t do much real damage. Well, not in Israel, anyway…
Couldn’t get it up
The damage those same missiles did back in Iran was another story entirely. Like the poorly-designed Hamas rockets with a nasty habit of misfiring and raining down on their own heads, the Iranian version has quality control issues of their own.
More and more videos coming out of Iran revealing that a lot of drones and missiles malfunctioned and fell down on Iranian towns and villages.
The Islamic regime is a risk to the lives of all decent Iranians who don’t want the Mullahs to rule their lives pic.twitter.com/sU6BREHfyA

While Joe Biden and other Western leaders are almost ready to find religion and pray that Israel doesn’t bomb Iran back into the stone age, some Iranian civilians see the situation quite differently.
Iranian citizens cheering for the other guys
Some Iranians are so sick of the regime that they are openly cheering for Israel to strike back.
A day after the Iranian attack on Israel the streets of Iran are filled with graffiti by the civilian opponents of the regime with clear messages: "Israel, attack them!" "You will start and we will continue in the streets" and also "bomb the leader's office"…
Both in Israel and… pic.twitter.com/YHYV33a1MS— יוסף חדאד – Yoseph Haddad (@YosephHaddad) April 15, 2024
… graffiti suggests some Iranians are even optimistic that the pissed off public can finish anything Israel might start by droning a couple of key regime leaders, hoping they can throw the bums out completely.
Contrast that to the Iran-simping Dems
Between Obama and Biden bending over backward to placate Iran’s regime for so long — and their loyalists doing the same through the Trump years — an end to the Iranian regime is the LAST thing Democrats want.
Elected Dems (and their donor class) have worked too long and hard building deep relationships with the bloodthirsty anti-American terrorists to start over if their radical jihadist theocracy were to be toppled.
If you recall, Iran was one of the few places where the Obama-era ‘Arab Spring’ revolutionary movements were NOT encouraged, even when the Iranians wanted an excuse to throw off the chains of the regime that still oppresses them.
And let’s not forget about the ‘Project Cassandra’ story that blew the lid off of how Obama/Biden shut down American criminal investigations into Hezbollah’s terrorism in order to placate Iran. As a result, Hezbollah grew from a regional criminal organization to a full-service global criminal cartel… running all kinds of illegal material.
Iran’s commitment to Islam isn’t so deep as we thought
(Did you know that the regime has been so over-the-top oppressive that a lot of Iranians have become an anything-but-Islam category?)

As the world braces for a reaction, Iranian Christians are praying for the protection of the world’s only Jewish nation and also asking for prayer as they prepare for increase persecution.
Last weekend I spent time with three Iranian fellowships and though the topic of our conversations were all different with each group, one thing was shared in common – their prayers for Israel.
[…]
“Believers are messaging me from inside [Iran] asking for prayer for the Christians stuck in the middle of it all,” wrote Naghmeh Panahi last night during the attack. Naghmeh is a leader in the underground house church in Iran. Her testimony of ministry in the nation can be found in her biography “I DIDN’T SURVIVE.”
According to Naghmeh, “Many are fleeing Iran’s capital in anticipation of being attacked…[the Christians in Iran] are concerned and asking for prayer.”– BackToJerusalem

It is good to remember that the people of Iran are not the enemy here. The real enemy is the corrupt regime whose boot is on the neck of its own people.
