Earlier this week, Trump did a town hall event on Laura Ingram’s show. While covering many topics, one moment triggered the ire of a professor…
This very important person saw fit to isolate one small portion of what he said in an effort to make Trump look like an idiot.
All it did was expose the sorry state of modern education.
Let’s introduce the clown before we break him down:
If you see his bio, he makes sure that you know he is right up ther at the tippy-top of elite society. Ted Talks. Forbes. An economics professor. He’s checking all those boxes. He’s even a poet! See how well-rounded?
Then along comes Trump and suddenly this guy with the Ukraine flag in his bio gets all riled up. Imagine that.
Let’s see what’s got him all upset:
According to Trump, russia defeated Hitler?! The ignorance and stupidity of this man has no bounds. pic.twitter.com/GTo8ldzs1L

OH NO! He said Russia helped defeat Nazi Germany!
Hold on… a minute. Even Huffpo wrote this about the Death of Patton back before hating Putin became the left’s central passtime:
In early May 1945, as the Allies shut down the Nazi war machine, Patton stood with his massive 3rd Army on the outskirts of Prague in a potential face off with the Red Army. He pleaded for General Eisenhower’s green light to advance and capture the city for the Allies, which also would have meant containment of the Russians. British Prime Minister Churchill also thought the move a crucial and beneficial one for post-war Europe and insisted upon it, but to no avail. Eisenhower denied Patton’s request, and the Russians took the region, which would pay dearly for years to come. Earlier that year, at the February conference in Yalta, President Roosevelt, with Churchill at his side, extended the hand of friendship to “Uncle Joe” Stalin and signed his Faustian pact. In so doing, the destiny of millions was reduced to mass starvation, blood revenge, and distant gulags. At the time, Patton understood the tragedy of this event and wrote, “We promised the Europeans freedom. It would be worse than dishonorable not to see that they have it. This might mean war with the Russians, but what of it?” — Huffpo (Emphasis added)
Either Huffpo is another one of those so-called ‘Extreme Right-Wing MAGA’ outlet (it’s not) or this professor should shut up and consider teaching clown school.
He’s just demonstrated his qualifications for that role.
Anyone teenage kid with a basic grasp of the battles of WWII — which can be gleaned from era-specific video games if not from failing public schools — would have seen the problem with this clown’s attempt to dunk on Trump.
There really WAS an Eastern Front. Some guy so proud to call himself ‘Ukrainian American’ should hang his head in shame for NOT knowing that, considering the fact that that conflict only traded a Nazi oppressor for a Soviet one.
Why ELSE did he think there was a division between East and West Germany? How ELSE was he going to explain the rise of the Soviet Empire at the dawn of the Cold War and the Warsaw Pact that once stood as a communist counterweight to NATO?
But now that Elon installed the Community Notes feature, obvious attempts at drive-by slander are harder to get away with.
Maybe he’ll realize it’s time to log off social media and crack a history book, ‘professor’. Maybe one about middle 20th Century Europe. But don’t count on it.
If you want to see Trump’s full Town Hall with Laura Ingraham in it’s proper context, without some stuffed shirt cherry picking unfinished thoughts he wants to highlight, you can do that here:
