On Monday, Joe Biden blurted out the most inexplicable lie about his storied life yet when he claimed he talked a famed Dixiecrat Senator into voting for the 1964 Civil Rights Act before the Sen. died.
This bald-faced lie is probably one of the biggest head scratchers yet.
The president made this absolutely idiotic claim while speaking on the 60th anniversary of the founding of the civil rights legal group, the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.
He then went off on this absurd tangent:
Pause for just a moment. I thought things had changed. I was able to literally, not figuratively, talk Strom Thurmond into voting for the Civil Rights Act before he died, and I thought, ‘Well maybe there’s real progress,’ But hate never dies. It just hides, it hides under the rocks.

The truth is, though, that there is not one single word of truth in this outlandish statement.
Indeed, in reality, every single word of that statement isn’t merely false, but it is an actual impossibility.
First of all, Strom Thurmond — a famously racist senator from the 50s and. 60s — did NOT vote in favor of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. He was a “no” vote.
And the “before he died” part is even harder to understand. You would think hearing Biden’s lunatic claim that Thurmond died right after the 1964 vote.
But Thurmond didn’t die until 2003!
Oh, and guess what else. Joe Biden was only 21 in 1964 and wasn’t even in the U.S. Senate.
So… just what the hell is this addled old coot talking about?
The White House later did a tap dance and tried to claim that Biden was talking about getting Thurmond to vote in favor of the 1980 Voting Rights Act. But, sorry, that is NOT what Biden said on Monday.
Biden has no grasp of reality.
